Fans of romantic comedies can rejoice. According to the The Hollywood Reporter, Picture This, an Amazon Prime Video original, is coming to streaming soon. The feature film will star the duo Simone Ashley (Bridgerton) and Hero Fiennes Tiffin (After franchise).

Directed by Prarthana Mohan and written by Nikita Lalwani, Picture This is based on the Australian film Five Blind Dates. And the synopsis released so far reveals some details of Pia’s (Simone Ashley) plot, in a hilarious and sincere search for true love.

Single and with no suitors on the horizon, Pia (Ashley) runs a failing photography studio in London with her best friend Jay. Until a spiritual guru at her sister’s engagement party predicts that Pia will meet the love of her life within the next five dates. Which leads the young woman’s family to put her on a series of blind dates, increasingly desperate.

Picture This does not yet have a release date. The 3rd season of Bridgerton, which also features Simone Ashley, is scheduled to premiere on May 16, on Netflix.
