After the conclusion of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn rushed to start production on Superman (ex Superman: Legacy), his new film as director and also head of DC Studios.

X-MEN, DAREDEVIL AND ALL DEADPOOL 3 PARTICIPATIONS

Interestingly, he took some of the actors from the Guardians films with him. Among them, we have NATHAN FILLION, who played one of the OrgoCorp guards in Vol 3.

Now at DC, Nathan will bring to life Guy Gardner, GREEN LANTERN from the new Superman movie! Reaffirming this lineup, the actor appeared alongside Gunn and the rest of the cast in a very cool behind-the-scenes photo.

WHAT WE THOUGHT OF GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 (NO SPOILERS)

EVERYTHING ABOUT GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the last Guardians of the Galaxy film as we know it. In the plot, we see the Guardians being affected by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Quill, affected by the loss of Gamora, needs to take his team on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life. A mission that, if not done successfully, could bring about the end of the Guardians as we know them.

The entire main cast consisting of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff and Sean Gunn returned. And it featured new additions, such as Will Poulter as the famous and powerful Adam Warlock. While Chukwudi Iwuji plays the villain High Evolutionary. Maria Bakalova provided the voice and motion capture of Cosmo the Space Dog.

After being fired and rehired by Disney, director James Gunn directed and wrote the film, the team’s third film, and joined the rare group of Marvel directors who helmed a trilogy – sharing the post with Jon Watts (Spider-Man trilogy) and Peyton Reed (Ant-Man trilogy).

The film was a public and box office success, earning more than 840 million at the worldwide box office, and is available on Disney+! You can read our review of the film by clicking here.
