Cabras Da Peste on Tela Quente (25/03): Matheus Nachtergaele and Edmilson Filho form an unlikely duo in national comedy – Cinema news

Previously exclusive to Netflix, production returns to open TV this Monday (25).

The month is coming to an end, but not before presenting the last Hot screen before April. Focusing on national projects for a few weeks now, the broadcaster is expected to show Cabras da Peste, a film directed by Vitor Brandt, known for his work on Copa de Elite, Historietas Assombradas and De Volta aos 15 (2nd season).

The film follows the story of Bruceuilis (Edmilson Filho) from Ceará and Trindade (Matheus Nachtergaele), two completely incompatible police officers from São Paulo who are forced to work together to rescue Celestina, a goat that is considered Ceará’s heritage. During the investigation, the two discover that the animal’s disappearance is linked to the criminal actions of Luva Branca, the biggest target of the São Paulo police.

Together, Bruceuilis and Trindade will need to unmask the gang led by the drug dealer and show that they are still real police officers. In buddy cop style, the film has that classic Brazilian touch.

Previously with exclusive rights to Netflix, the film was shown for the first time on open TV in July last year. In an interview withADORCinema, Edmilson Filho spoke about the way in which the film approaches an already known type of film, but dives into Brazilianness to present something completely new.

“What we took into consideration was to put Brazilianness in the film, a comedy with a very well-crafted script, with two actors with great chemistry, with the enthusiasm that I bring to my work, this comedy thing from the northeast, bringing the fights that give a greater production value”, said the actor.

“I think this film is a set of genre films, I don’t think it’s just about crime, it’s about fighting, about martial arts, about several things. But, in fact, it’s the recovery of the clown duo: the intelligent (rational) and instinctive, courageous and fearful, complementary”, reflected Nachtergaele.
