Since ‘Avengers: Endgame’fans have been speculating about the return of Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr.in the new film by Avengers. Now the filmmaker Kevin Feige spoke about the subject.

“Let’s keep that moment and not revisit that moment again.”stated Feige to Vanityfair about Tony Stark’s emotional final moments in ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

“We all worked hard for many years to get to this, and we would never want to magically undo it anyway.”

Although Downey has become the face of the UCM, Feige revealed that they were initially not inclined to cast him.

“It was purely because the Marvel board was nervous about betting all of its resources on someone who famously had legal troubles in the past.”he said Feige about the prisons of Downey.

“I wasn’t very good — and I’m still not great — at taking no for an answer. But I also don’t beat my chest to get what I want. I try to find ways to make it clear to other people why we should go in a direction. And that’s when the idea of a screen test came up.”

Feige also emphasized the respect and admiration that the cast has for Robert Downey Jr.

“We used to joke and say that Robert was the head of the acting department because everyone there looked up to him.”added Feige.

“He welcomed them all, but not in a subservient way. He just became their cheerleader.”
