Rua do Medo 4: Actresses from Harry Potter and The Conjuring join the Netflix horror saga; find out who else is in the cast – Cinema News

The cast and synopsis for Fear Street: Prom Queen have been announced by Netflix.

Three years ago, Netflix promoted almost an event with the consecutive release of the Rua do Medo films. With such success and repercussion, the trilogy will be expanded and will gain a new chapter, Fear Street: Prom Queen. Confirmed in January, the sequel bets on new names to continue the story of Shadyside’s curses.

Like the first three films, Rua do Medo 4 is an adaptation of the literary series by author RL Stine. The book A Rainha do Baile takes place in the same city, but has a separate plot. The return of the original characters would be possible through special appearances or flashbacks, but there is no confirmation.

“Set in 1988, prom season is underway and the It Girls are competing for the crown. Until a stranger is nominated and the other girls begin to mysteriously disappear”, says the official synopsis released by Netflix.

Who is in the cast of Rua do Medo 4?

The 2021 trilogy featured Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink and One Piece’s Emily Rudd as sisters alongside young talent in the cast. This time, the most prominent name is Katherine Waterston, who stars in the Harry Potter prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, alongside Eddie Redmayne. In addition to her, Lili Taylor is also in the film, the actress is best known for The Conjuring and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.

David Iacono (The Summer That Changed My Life); India Fowler (White Lines); Fina Strazza (Paper Girls); Ella Rubin (The Chair) and Chris Klein (The Flash) will also appear in Fear Street: Prom Queen.

There are still rumors that Ariana Greenblatt, from Barbie and Ahsoka, will be the protagonist of the new era of Fear Street, but the information has not been confirmed by Netflix.
