A few weeks ago, the actress Miriam Margolyeswho plays Professor Sprout in the film saga ‘Harry Potter‘, generated a controversy when criticizing adults who are still obsessed with films.

At the time, she told 1News that fans should have gotten over the franchise by now. “You know, it was 25 years ago and it’s for kids. I think it’s for children. But they get stuck in it.”.

After that, the actress suffered a series of online attacks, being labeled a frustrated and unhappy person for worrying about what the public likes or doesn’t like.

And the actress Jessie Cavewho played Lavender Brown in ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince‘, came out in defense of the public.

During her visit to Dream It Con, she was asked about the subject, to which she responded (via deadline):

When the presenters started laughing at the whole situation, she reinforced:

“I’m proud to have done this, but you’ve grown… Read [Charles] Dickens.”

“I do cameos and people say, ‘I’m having a Harry Potter-themed wedding,’ and I think, oh my God, what’s their first night going to be like? I can’t even think about it. Harry Potter is wonderful, I’m very grateful for that. But it’s over. That’s what I think.”
