Marvels arrived in theaters in November last year and marked a negative point for the MCU. With the worst box office in the studio’s history and a negative impact on the public.
After an insider claimed that Captain Marvel 3 had been scrapped by Disney, now Deadline reports something even more drastic: Brie Larson would have been FIRED by Marvel.
The end of Brie Larson?
Unfortunately, the actress will not return as Captain Marvel in the upcoming Avengers films. But there is a big detail in this.

The Marvels is the continuation of the billionaire Captain Marvel. The film had a script written by Megan McDonnell (WandaVision) and was set in the present day of the MCU, after the events of Avengers: Endgame!
New MCU director Nia DaCosta commanded the sequel. Obviously, Brie Larson returned Carol Danvers. Just as we had the return of Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, from the Ms. Marvel series, and Teyonah Parris, Monica Rambeau from the series WandaVision. Two characters featured in the series, now in theaters.
The film also featured the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and MCU newcomer Zawe Ashton, who played the film’s villain Dar-Benn.
