The long-awaited sequel to the action thriller “The Accountant” is officially in production! Officially titled “The Accountant 2”, the film will bring Ben Affleck back to the role of Christian Wolff, the accountant with exceptional skills who hides a mysterious past.

Filming began earlier this year and the main cast also features the return of Jon Bernthal, JK Simmons and Cynthia Addai-Robinson. New to the cast are actors Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza and Joe Manganiello.
The film is directed by Gavin O’Connor, who had already directed the first film. There is no official release date yet, but the expectation is that “The Accountant 2” will hit theaters in 2024 or 2025.

The script for “The Accountant 2” was written by Guy Barwick and John Logan, and the plot is still kept under wraps. However, we can expect more action, suspense and revelations about Christian Wolff’s past.
