They had to leave the city of Rodelas (in Bahia) due to the destruction caused by a dam built for a hydroelectric plant there.

In an interview with the PodPah podcast, Wagner Moura spoke about this interview. “When I was about 10 years old, everyone had to move to the city of Nova Rodelas. And the TV crews went there to cover it. And I was there, covered in mud, and a reporter arrived asking me: ‘What do you think about that?’. And there’s a video on the internet showing me”.
