Andreas Kisserguitarist and leader of Graverecently shared some reflections on his group’s farewell tour that begins this Friday (1), in Belo Horizonte, and spoke about the possibility of a reunion with Max It is Iggor Cavalera.

On the Rockast program, presenter Henrique Inglez de Souza asked Kisser if there is a chance that the brothers, founders of Sepultura, would be invited to a show on the “Celebrating Life Through Death” tour. Initially, the guitarist responded:

We have already received proposals from some festivals such as Ozzfest, Knotfest itself, among others, to do [a reunião]. But it never went ahead, because that was never our intention, to do it for money, for anything else.

However, Andreas Kisser then points out that it would be interesting to invite all the former members of the band to play in the last farewell show, but does not guarantee that this will happen:

Grave is what we do today, with respect, with attitude, with motivation to do things. I don’t know man, that’s something to think about. It would be nice to invite everyone in the last show, right? But it’s something that maybe we can work on. It’s not a process now, we’re at the very beginning, right? I think it would be obvious, right? Motörhead did it, Yes did it, lots of bands did it.

So, it’s a possibility, with everyone alive, obviously, right? But it’s not something we’re working on right now, right? I think that for the final and last show that we want to do in São Paulo, it would be interesting to have everyone.

But it’s something to think about. That’s not why we’re going to do the last show either, right? I think I want to celebrate, I don’t want to create tension, create ego situations in a place where it doesn’t need to be. I think the intention is to celebrate, hug each other and be grateful. […] Each was part of each other’s lives […]. But, let’s see. We’re going to start now in BH, I can’t wait to get on stage and start this saga.

We can’t wait for this tour either! You can check out the excerpt from Andreas Kisser’s recent interview in the player below.
