German version of Summer Breeze Open Air cancels Armored Dawn performance

The organizers of Summer Breeze Open Air, a festival held in Germany since the 1990s, announced this Friday (March 22) that the Brazilian band Armored Dawn will no longer participate in the event. The cancellation was announced through a brief statement posted on Summer Breeze Open Air’s social media.

“We announce that Armored Dawn will not be part of Summer Breeze 2024,” the post’s caption reads. The reason for the cancellation was not specified in the publication.

Armored Dawn had been announced as one of the attractions of Summer Breeze 2024 last Tuesday (19). The announcement generated a wave of complaints from Brazilian internet users, as can be seen in the original post. The complaints occur due to the relationship between some members of Armored Dawn and Prevent Senior, a healthcare company that generated controversy during the Covid Pandemic due to the dissemination of ineffective treatments.
