Exhibition “E/Ternamente Rui Nabeiro” immortalizes the Comendador’s life and work

The first phase of the exhibition “E/Ternamente Rui Nabeiro”, which pays homage to the life and work of Commander Rui Nabeiro, was inaugurated this Thursday morning, March 28, at the Coffee Science Center, in Campo Maior.

The inauguration, which served to mark the date of the Commander’s birthday, is part of the tribute program to the founder of the Nabeiro Group – Delta Cafés, showing everyone more about Rui Nabeiro.

João Manuel Nabeiro, president of the Board of Directors of Grupo Nabeiro – Delta Cafés and son of the Comendador reveals that this exhibition is the result of “an overview of the major phases of Rui Nabeiro’s life and work”, wanting the family to be “a testimony and a legacy for future generations.”

Rita Nabeiro, granddaughter of the Comendador, reveals that this “was always a day of celebration and was always celebrated with great joy, with family by blood, heart and with the community”, so her grandfather’s birthday has to be be “eternalized”.

Regarding the exhibition, Rita Nabeiro says that this is the first phase, where the various facets of Rui Nabeiro are highlighted, through his words. “What we are doing today is laying the first stone of the eternity of the Rui Nabeiro brand, because he was a brand and left a mark on each one of us. Therefore, this exhibition tries to touch on the different facets of Rui Nabeiro’s life and work, such as the humanist, businessman and political activist side, trying to get us to know him and remember his life and that it touches us, in some way”, says Rita Nabeiro.

The exhibition that portrays “the various lives of Rui Nabeiro” will be on display at the Coffee Science Center until March 28, 2025.
