Eloy Casagrande’s troubled departure from Sepultura
Eloy Casagrande became a member of Sepultura in 2011 and remained in the group until February 2024. The Brazilian drummer left Sepultura shortly before the start of the quartet’s farewell tour led by Andreas Kisser. Maybe for the band’s fans it doesn’t make sense at this point, but decisions needed to be made thinking about new cycles to come. We are made of choices and they are not always easy. My departure will never erase my respect and gratitude to the band.
