ANDIt was hoped that the video in which Kate Middleton publicly reveals that she was diagnosed with cancer would put an end to all theories about her prolonged absence from the public sphere, but that is not what happened. On social media, in the last few hours, rumors began to circulate that the images in question had been generated by Artificial Intelligence, which led the BBC to react.
The British station issued a statement that it sent to several newspapers. In the note, cited by El Mundo, it can be read that it was the BBC itself that recorded the video, thus seeking to prevent the spread of this new conspiracy theory.
“We would like to wish His Royal Highness a speedy recovery”, the short statement finally states.
According to this latest theory that the video was generated by Artificial Intelligence, which continues to convince some Internet users even after the BBC’s explanation, Kate’s engagement ring disappears from her finger for a few seconds. There are those who also emphasize that the background is “very blurred” and that there is no movement, in addition to the fact that Kate wore the same shirt in 2016, during a Place2Be campaign.
