MEven though the attention of most iPhone users is focused on the next version of the operating system – iOS 18 – the truth is that the next iOS 17 update will be one of the most important in the history of Apple’s cell phone.
As the website TechRadar recalls, iOS 17.5 will introduce the possibility of downloading applications from external websites – a possibility that was previously non-existent and which was introduced with the entry into force of the Digital Markets Law.
Note that, with iOS 17.4, the possibility of downloading apps from alternative stores to the App Store became available. As for iOS 17.5, the beta version for developers is currently available, so we will have to wait for the official launch.
