Former FC Porto coach is the one the Hammers want to replace David Moyes; Rúben Amorim’s termination clause with Sporting is an obstacle

According to The Guardian newspaper, the coach’s release clause with the Lions, in the order of 20 million euros for clubs outside of Portugal, is a difficult obstacle to overcome and West Ham turned to Julen Lopetegui.
The Spaniard, former coach of FC Porto, is free and, naturally, would involve a much smaller investment, but he is also being followed by Milan to take Stefano Pioli’s place. At this point, the former Spanish coach is the favorite for the position and negotiations are progressing for Lopetegui’s return to the Premier League, after an experience at Wolverhampton, which ended in August.
The British daily also points to the names of Hansi Flick, Graham Potter and Portuguese Marco Silva (Fulham) as possible candidates for the position.
