A OpenAI presented Sora in February, a new Artificial Intelligence tool that allows you to create videos from text. The first videos unveiled by OpenAI automatically dominated the Internet’s attention but, unfortunately, the Serum is not yet available to everyone interested.
Still, you won’t have to wait long before you can start trying Sora. According to statements by OpenAI’s CTO, Mira Murati, to The Wall Street Journal, the company has plans to officially launch Sora later this year. Murati also adds that OpenAI does not intend to stop developing Sora, indicating that the company intends to incorporate audio into this tool.
Remember that the version shown so far by OpenAI is only capable of producing videos without sound, with this addition undoubtedly making them more realistic and difficult to detect. “We are trying to understand how to use this technology as a tool that people use to create and edit”, noted Murati.
