Good news from Samsung! One UI 6.1 coming to Galaxy S23

-

Samsung’s plans for One UI 6.1 have already been revealed. The Korean brand wants to bring its update to some smartphones this month, offering them AI. That moment seems to be coming and will be this week, probably on March 28th.

When Samsung revealed the Galaxy S24 and all its AI capabilities, the brand promised that these would be expanded. Everything is based on One UI 6.1, where the brand has included many of its new features and improvements.

In addition to these models, Samsung also promised some of these new capabilities for the Galaxy S23. It was not clear to what extent these would be accessible, but it was certain that they would arrive and be accessible to everyone.

Now, and according to the most recent information, One UI 6.1 is about to reach the Galaxy S23. The brand had already hinted that it would take place this month, but has now confirmed that it will most likely be on March 28th.

This information arrived via notifications on some of the smartphones that will receive this new version. Furthermore, Samsung Korea confirmed that the update to One UI 6.1 with Android 14 will reach all devices in the Galaxy S23 family, including the most recent, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.

It will be thanks to this update to One UI 6.1 that the Galaxy S23 will receive Galaxy AI. Of these capabilities, Circle To Search, Live Translate, Chat Assist, Interpreter and Generative Editing and Editing Suggestion stand out.

It therefore seems likely that this date will at least mark the beginning of the global implementation of One UI 6.1. On the one hand, March 28 is the last Thursday of the month, and Samsung usually starts rolling out updates in the middle of the week. This will also be the last chance that Samsung has to fulfill its promise to release this update at the “end of March”.
