Galaxy AI’s next big thing is expected to be a video-related AI tool that could reach the public with the launch of One UI 6.1.1. The suggestion was made by Ice Universe, a well-known Samsung product leaker, through a post on the X platform (the former Twitter), last Thursday (25).
In the publication, Ice Universe limits itself to saying that “the main innovation of One UI 6.1.1 will be video AI”, without giving more details about what the tool will be capable of doing.
Video AI on Samsung phones
It is possible that the reference to a video AI is a resource for generating videos from text, similar to OpenAI’s Sora, or a package of advanced editing tools with artificial intelligence.
Currently, Galaxy AI devices feature generative photo editing, which allows you to resize, remove and reposition objects in an image, in addition to Instant Slow-Mo, which uses AI to generate frames and transform videos with slow motion effects.
