Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) announces an exciting addition to the EA SPORTS™ WRC gaming experience. Starting April 30, this much-anticipated feature for EA Sports™ WRC fans will be available as a companion update* to all PC players across Steam, Epic, and the EA App with compatible headsets, offering players a completely new opportunity to experience the world of rallying.

EA SPORTS™ WRC is the first official FIA World Rally Championship video game to offer a VR experience. This new addition is set to take the WRC player experience to an unprecedented level of immersion, bringing them closer than ever to the heart-pounding thrill of driving a rally car.

“We’re really excited to be able to bring VR to EA Sports WRC,” said Creative Director, Matthew Battison, “With VR, players will be able to experience what rallying is all about, straight from the driver’s eyes and fully immerse themselves in in the challenging experiences that the WRC has to offer. You will be able to feel the adrenaline as you reach incredible speeds and take gravity-defying jumps on different unmissable asphalt levels, from gravel courses to snow stages, while diving into the highly detailed environments of the video game’s 18 locations.”

The addition of VR is compatible with all single or multi-player modes in the video game. A large number of headsets will be compatible with EA SPORTS™ WRC, including Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Valve Index, Oculus Rift S, Oculus CV1, and HTC Vive.
