Samsung has launched an “FE” version of its flagship, the S series, making several of its main features accessible to a wider audience, thanks to the lower price. The Galaxy S23 FE arrived late last year, while the Galaxy S24 series has been around for some time. Therefore, the time has come to find out more about the next version of the FE, the Galaxy S24 FE, which is getting closer to reality.

The Galaxy S24 FE has appeared once again, this time via RootMyGalaxy, in the device database of British operator EE. The Galaxy S24 FE appears to have the model number SM-S7210U in the region, possibly for the version sold through the carrier.
Rumors about the Galaxy S24 FE have been steadily increasing. Therefore, this new discovery confirms that this FE device is indeed being developed. Since the phone has been spotted in EE’s database, it would be fair to assume that the smartphone will be launched in the UK at least.
However, the phone’s launch date is still up in the air as we have received contradictory information. Depending on which rumor you believe, the Galaxy S24 FE could arrive in summer 2024 or late 2024 and early 2025.
A launch in the summer of 2024 would mark the device quite close to launch, i.e. between June and August, and would make more sense. However, a later launch would put the phone very close to the Galaxy S25 series. This could create some overlap in price ranges and repeat some of the same mistakes Samsung made with the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S22 series launch windows.
