The Galaxy FE range of smartphones started very well in 2020, with the now old Galaxy S20 FE, a device that impressed in its design, build quality, computational capabilities, and also in image capture. It was a great machine, at a slightly lower price compared to the rest of the Galaxy S20 range.
However, with the pandemic taking its toll, and components not arriving for everything, things began to get complicated for Samsung, and as such, the launch, which was originally supposed to take place in the summer of each year, began to be pushed with the belly towards the end of the year.
A time that quite honestly… It doesn’t make any sense. Launch an FE smartphone in December, when the new generation Galaxy S will be announced in January. Will be EVER a disaster.
That’s why the Galaxy S21 FE sold little or nothing, the S22 FE was cancelled, and the S23 FE also went under the radar of many consumers. (However, in this latest S23 FE, Samsung decided to opt for strange specifications, which also explains its failure. Exynos 2200 in 2023? It didn’t make sense!)
But, with the Galaxy S24 FE, things will return to normal (and success)!

Therefore, it seems that the Galaxy S24 FE is ready for the spotlight in various global markets, to be announced at the same time as the new Galaxy Z, in the summer. Most likely in July.
It’s something that makes perfect sense, because Samsung is now ready to make a big bet on ‘FE’ devices! After all, 2024 will be the first year in which we will welcome foldable devices that are more attractive to our wallets. As is the example of the arrival of the new Galaxy Z Flip FE! A device that should not cost more than €650.
Having said all this, the Galaxy S24 FE has already appeared in some databases, with the model SM-S7210U. A smartphone that should hit the market equipped with an Exynos 2400 SoC, at a much more attractive price compared to the rest of the Galaxy S24 range.
In short, it could very well turn out to be a success! (If Samsung doesn’t overprice it!)
