ES firefighters draw attention with ‘transition trend’ to warn about accidents
The Espírito Santo Military Fire Department (CBMES) joined an internet trend to publicize the importance of safe driving for motorcyclists. In a video published this Wednesday (13), the corporation used a trend known as “transition” and drew attention to traffic prevention and education.
In the so-called “transition trend”, two videos are joined, initially without a direct connection, but which begin to complement each other after editing. This format is used in humor videos, but also in montages about makeup, fashion and now even traffic alerts.
In the case of the video published on the Fire Department’s social networks, the first part is an excerpt from an accident involving a motorcyclist hitting the back of a van. Then, a person, representing the pilot, appears falling on a stretcher inside a CBMES ambulance.
Afterwards, a soldier begins to speak, informs and warns about the dangers of lack of care.
“Did you know that the incidents most attended to by us are accidents involving motorcyclists? The Fire Department teams alone responded to 2,236 incidents of this type in the last 12 months across the state”, said Sergeant Bissoli, head of the Fire Department’s rescue team in the video.
“We believe that prevention is the best way to save lives. Social networks are an important tool for reaching out to the general population, functioning as a direct channel for disseminating information, in this case, accurate information from a safe source, which is the Fire Department itself”, said Captain Jonas Magnago.
For the captain, “institutions, respecting people and, in our case, military precepts, must follow the evolution of society and also the dynamics of social media that are a reality today.”
Magnago highlighted that previous experiences were positive. “If we can attract the attention of the largest number of people to such an important subject by making a video, this strategy proves to be very effective”, he concluded.
Hit by Léo Santana to warn about risks during carnival
With humor, members of the corporation drew attention to the use of seat belts, driving and drinking, as well as taking care of children to avoid drowning.
