DAfter the false news of the death of King Charles III was ‘spread’ in Russia this Monday, the embassy and the palace were forced to deny such information.

“The following announcement is made by royal communications. The king died unexpectedly yesterday afternoon,” said a statement released by the Russian press and supposedly signed by Buckingham Palace. The rumors gained such strength that they forced the British embassy in Ukraine to issue a statement, highlighting that the monarch is alive and that the news is false.

“We would like to inform you that the news about the death of King Charles III is false,” they wrote on X (formerly Twitter), according to the Telegraph.

“We are pleased to confirm that the king continues to fulfill his duties and attend to private matters,” Buckingham Palace said – via Russian news agency TASS.

It should be remembered that Carlos III, aged 75, has been undergoing treatment for cancer since the end of January.
