Exclusive: actress suffers accident while recording No Rancho Fundo

Recording with animals is always a challenge. And when filming takes place in the middle of summer in Rio de Janeiro, with temperatures above 40 degrees and a thermal sensation of 60, it is even more complicated. And, while working in the scenic city of No Rancho Fundo, the new 6pm soap opera on TV Globo, the protagonist of the plot, Larissa Bocchino, who plays Quinota, suffered an accident. The scene in question was that of the character, daughter of Andréa Beltrão and Alexandre Nero, riding the donkey through traffic, calmly. Among the vehicles on the track is Vespertino’s (Thardelly Lima) and, at that moment, the animal stalls. During the plot, the two begin an argument so that the girl leaves the front of the car with the animal, with the boy suggesting that she give him a whip on the back.

As is normal on sets, a single take needs to be filmed several times and this time was no different. And that’s when the incident happened, recorded last Tuesday (19/3): in one of the repetitions, the donkey shot with Larissa Bocchino on top. Unable to control the animal, the actress fell to the ground, being rescued by the head of the stunt team and the animal’s owner.

Sources who witnessed the fall said that, despite the scare, fortunately the girl did not suffer any serious injuries. With the issue of the fall resolved, let’s get back to work as the stress didn’t stop there.

As the scene was extensive, it included extras, cars and other actors. When changing the filming angle, Thardelly Lima got upset and started complaining, causing them to have to repeat it several times, with the thermometers reading 42 degrees and a thermal sensation of 60, irritating the production team.

Among the problems listed by the artist in question was the difficulty in concentrating to dominate the scene due to people passing in front of the car, as he had to write the text and drive paying attention so as not to run over the other participants, including the donkey. See!

Someone “lost” the keys to the extras’ bathrooms, preventing them from using them while they waited for the next recordings. There are different bathrooms on site for the production, cast and extras.
