sAccording to the Lebanese police, two of the detainees are under 18 years old.
The men were accused of spying for Israel and are currently in detention, according to the French-speaking newspaper Le Orient-Le Jour.
Sources close to the investigation of the case indicated that it was a man of Syrian origin and a Lebanese man, who were recruited by a third person.
The Palestinian armed group, which identified the victim as Hadi Ali Mustafa, confirmed the death on March 13, in an attack on the Al Hush road, which also left three injured.
Following the attack, the Israeli armed forces stated that Mustafa was the target of the attack and described him as a “key agent of the terrorist organization Hamas” who was involved in “terrorist squads and activities on the ground”.
The Israeli forces further stated that he was a “senior member of the organization’s construction department.”
