Ivete Sangalosinger, participated in her husband’s podcast, Daniel Cadyand commented on the feared menopause. She commented that she faced the already known symptoms, such as changes in mood and a drop in libido.

‘You have to live the situations’

“First thing I thought: I want to live to draw my conclusions. You have to live the situations, to draw conclusions, this is the advice I give to people. There’s this thing about personalizing the situation. Medicine does not treat the macro: it addresses the person’s issue. Every treatment permeates the patient’s emotions. You can’t work on a situation that’s only in the book, so I’m going to experience menopause, so much so that we barely discussed this case. I felt the horrible heat, I preferred to live it“, he explained.

“But I didn’t feel much different than when I got pregnant with Marcelo. With progesterone I couldn’t sing a song, because I had an injection of hormones to relax those muscles, so as not to think that the fetus was a foreign body and purge. It sounded like a duckling talking. At that time I knew that. Don’t demand too much from me. It’s about living the experience within my means.”he revealed.
