The period for submitting the IRS declaration for Portuguese taxpayers began this Monday and runs until June 30th.
“Taxpayers can thus submit their income declarations, using the Automatic IRS, if they are eligible, or submit their declaration manually”, says the Ministry of Finance, which also states that “taxpayers who need support or If you have any queries, you can use various means of assistance, such as the e-balcon or Telephone Customer Service Center – 217 206 707”.
Last year, around 6 million IRS declarations were settled, 32.7% of which were submitted through the Automatic IRS.
