Porsche driver fled shortly after the accident

The driver of a Porsche crashed into another passenger vehicle, and killed the driver, in the early hours of this Sunday, 31st, on an avenue in Tatuapé, East Zone of São Paulo. According to the Civil Police, he fled the scene after the accident. The case is investigated.
The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) informed the Earth that the case occurred around 2 am, on Avenida Salim Farah Maluf. Military Police teams were called to respond to the incident and when they arrived at the scene, they found that the person being investigated lost control of the Porsche and collided with the back of a Renault car, causing the accident.
The 52-year-old driver was taken to Tatuapé Hospital, but did not survive his injuries. The passenger in the luxury car was taken to São Luiz Hospital, where he remained under treatment. The person under investigation fled the scene.
According to Globonews, witnesses said that the young man was speeding, overtaking, when he hit the back of the Renault. The car is a 911 Carrera GTS model, valued at more than R$1 million.
After the accident, according to the broadcaster, his mother appeared at the scene and stated that she would take her son, who only had cuts on his face, to the hospital. Later, authorities went to the location, but the unit’s staff reported that he had not been admitted to the unit.
The SSP reported that exams were requested from the Legal Medical Institute (IML) and the Criminalistics Institute (IC) and the case was registered as leaving the scene of an accident, bodily injury while driving a motor vehicle and manslaughter while driving a motor vehicle in the 30th DP (Tatuapé). Efforts are underway to locate the person responsible for the accident.
