On Tuesday morning (2/4), a collision involving a bus and a motorcycle resulted in the death of a 20-year-old motorcyclist. The traffic accident occurred on BR-040, near Catetinho, towards Plano Piloto. According to the Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF), the young man was treated by rescuers, but he already had no vital signs, as he had serious injuries.
The bus driver, as well as the passengers, were not injured. One of the lanes and the lane designated for BRT buses had to be closed for service. The DF Highway Department (DER-DF) was responsible for the location and the dynamics of the accident are still unknown.
