Confirming information released at the end of March, Correios will start offering some of its services at higher prices from this Wednesday (3). The adjustment will be 4.39% in various delivery modes offered by the company.

According to the company, this adjustment corresponds to the correction of inflation according to the variation in the Broad National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) of 2023. The value, including, is lower than seen in previous years, when increases were 5.49% for 2023 and 9.56% in 2022.

What are the new values?

For users of Correios services, the new values ​​applied from today onwards are the following:

  • Sending letters and postcards weighing up to 20 grams: from R$2.45 to R$2.55;
  • Sending letters and cards weighing 450 to 500 grams: from R$13.35 to R$13.80;
  • Authorized franking of simple letters: values ​​between R$2.27 and R$12.17, depending on weight;
  • National Telegram: R$ 10.74 (via internet), R$ 12.96 (by telephone) and R$ 15.56 (pre-paid contract at agencies).

How are international shipping?

For international shipments, charges will occur in groups that vary depending on the country. They are separated by region, being:

  • Group 1: Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay;
  • Group 2: other countries in South America;
  • Group 3: Central and North America;
  • Group 4: Europe;
  • Group 5: Asia, Middle East, Africa and Oceania.

In case of shipping to other countries, prices can vary from R$4.30 to R$239.60, varying depending on the weight and the group to which the shipment will be made.
