WhatsApp experienced instability this Wednesday (03) which prevented users from sending and receiving messages. The problem prevented people from exchanging files such as photos, audios and videos.
According to Down Detector, the failure began to occur around 3 pm (Brasília time). According to the website, São Paulo, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba were among the most affected cities.
Although most complaints are related to the application, WhatsApp also reported connection problems.

And it wasn’t just the messenger app that faced technical issues. Also according to Down Detector, Instagram and Facebook, two other Meta platforms, also showed instability.
Complaints and memes
As happens in all situations, people used X (formerly Twitter) to talk about the situation. While some joked about the case, others reported difficulties working and communicating with friends and family.
