Measure taken after dog death
Airline initiative takes place after Joca’s death. A 4-year-old Golden Retriever dog died during a failure in air transport carried out by the company this Monday (22).
The animal should be taken from Guarulhos International Airport (SP) to Sinop (MT), where his tutor was waiting for him, but he ended up in Fortaleza. After discovering the error in the animal’s destination, it returned to Guarulhos, but arrived dead at the airport in São Paulo.
Family accuses Gol of negligence. In a video posted on social media, Marcia Martin, mother of João Fantazzini, the animal’s owner, says that the company did not call any veterinarian to evaluate the dog. The family also says that Joca would have been left inside the kennel, on the track, in the sun.
