The accident, which occurred during the flight that departed Chapecó towards Erechim, exposed the fragility of air operations in adverse weather conditions. The aircraft, belonging to the group Cimedknown for its activities in the manufacture of medicines, faced difficulties in stopping in time due to heavy rain, culminating in the exit from the runway and the need for medical assistance for the affected passengers.
