On Thursday morning (25), the Civil Police reconstructed the murder of Luan Cesar Barbosa, aged 34, in Caldas. Two authors participated in the simulation of the facts.
Investigations into the case began on Monday (22), when the victim’s sister reported the boy’s disappearance since the previous Thursday. On the same day, the police discovered that Luan was not missing, but that she had been the victim of homicide.
On Monday, one of the perpetrators of the homicide was at the Military Police headquarters reporting the crime and taking the police to the second perpetrator. The two men said they had committed the crime in a house and dragged the body to a forest, indicating the location.
The military were at the scene, but as it was late and visibility was low, due to it being a dense forest, the searches were ended and only resumed on Tuesday morning, with the help of the Fire Department.

The body was located and the Civil Police expertise was called in to carry out the necessary surveys and collect traces that would support the investigation. After the usual work, the body was sent to the Poços de Caldas Medical-Legal Center to undergo an autopsy examination.
Prisons
During the investigative work, the suspects, aged 24 and 29, were presented by their lawyers at the police station. They confessed to the crime and participated in the simulated reconstruction of the facts and were then interviewed by the police authority. In previous statements they stated that they had a disagreement with the victim and strangled her to death. Then, they dragged the body into the woods and abandoned it.

Those investigated were temporarily arrested. However, the police investigation is still ongoing to fully elucidate the case.
