14-year-old teenager planned robbery and murder of neighbor – Interior

The murder of the besieger José Alves da Silva, 80, which occurred in the early hours of yesterday (28) on a rural property between the municipalities of Dourados and Douradina, was planned by a 14-year-old teenager. According to the Civil Police, the girl had a romantic relationship with the elderly man.

The teenager, her 17-year-old boyfriend, her sister, Lucineia Monteiros dos Santos, 22, and Lucineia’s husband, Jhonatan Fernando Sobral, 26, were arrested hours after José’s body was found by family members. The Civil Police treat the case as a robbery (robbery followed by death).

José Alves da Silva lived alone on his farm, located in the Vila Sapé district and about 1 km from BR-163. Family members claim that he refused to leave the property to live in the city.

Yesterday morning, after being unable to contact him by phone, family members went to the site and found the body. José Alves da Silva was killed with a gunshot to the head. The house was completely ransacked and the besieger’s weapon, a 22-caliber shotgun, was not found.

Teams from Depac (Community Emergency Service Police Station) and the SIG (General Investigations Sector) of Dourados took over the investigations. They immediately discovered that the besieger was in a romantic relationship with a teenager.

In a corn field near the house, the police identified vehicle tire tracks, which reinforced the idea of ​​a property crime. With the help of witnesses, the police found that the car was a Ford Escort, the same model as the car owned by Lucineia dos Santos, sister of the teenager who was with José da Silva.

Investigators discovered that the teenager was hiding on a rural property in the municipality of Itaporã. At the scene, they found the teenager, her boyfriend and the two adults. The police found the car used by the group and the 22-caliber shotgun taken from the property.

According to the Civil Police, the crime was planned by the teenager and her boyfriend, to steal money from the besieger. Claiming that she was being threatened by the elderly man, the girl had decided with her boyfriend that José would be killed. In addition to the shotgun, the group stole R$400 from the victim.

In testimony, the two sisters said that the car was hidden in the cornfield. They arrived alone at the farm and began to seduce the elderly man. The older woman would have taken off her clothes in front of José while the teenager went to his room. Through the window, she passed the shotgun to her boyfriend.

According to the police, in addition to seducing the besieger, Lucineia Monteiro dos Santos put medication in José’s drink, to drug him. Outside the house, the teenager fired the fatal shot.

When they were arrested, the four were participating in a barbecue. The meat and drinks were purchased with money stolen from the besieger. According to police, the gathering was to commemorate the elderly man’s death. The two adults were charged with robbery and the teenagers were arrested for an infraction similar to the same crime.
