Madonna left a message for Brazil in the Golden Book of the Copacabana Palace, where she stayed last week. The Queen of Pop, who performed a historic show on Copacabana Beach, last Saturday (4), wrote a message in her own handwriting.
“I love you, Rio! Thank you for taking such good care of me and my children. The view of the sea is magnificent! With love, Madonna”, wrote the 65-year-old singer in the Copacabana Palace Golden Book.

During her visit to Brazil, she brought four of her six children. The heirs also participated in the show to remember moments from their mother’s career. They are Mercy James, 18, David Banda, also 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11.

The artist’s message was released on Monday (6) by the hotel, through social media. The traditional spot in Rio also showed that it placed a painting of the singer on a wall in the venue, alongside other icons, such as Jorge Ben Jor, Paul McCartney and Anthony Hopkins.
“Here is the home of great personalities and moments that marked an era. At Copa, we celebrate the brightest stars, immortalizing their passages in our hall of fame and recording their stories in our Golden Book”, says the caption of the Copacabana Palace publication .

Madonna took to Copacabana Beach the end of The Celebration Tour, a tour in which she celebrated her 40-year career. It was the biggest show of the artist’s career, with 1.6 million people.
