Cacau (Matilde Reymão) thanks everyone for helping her, now trusting them more. Regina tells Valdemar (Vitor Hugo) that Cacau is actually seen as the presumed perpetrator of Pipa’s (Sílvia Chiola) murder due to the statements that Tiago (José Condessa) gave to the police. Cacau runs inside to vomit, Regina (Christine Fernandes) and Valdemar (Vitor Hugo) look at each other intrigued.

Regina manages to convince Cacau to give up the idea of going to the police to try to find out who she is, saying that she was found tied up, and there could be someone after her who wants her very bad. Cocoa goes inside, hearing her vomit again. Everyone is apprehensive.

Agent PJ is incredulous that Tiago (José Condessa) changed his testimony about having seen Cacau and Pipa together before the latter died, thinking that everything may have been imagination due to the gas he inhaled. Cláudia (Joana Duarte) makes a statement to the other agent saying she doubts that Cacau was capable of murder, thinking that someone wanted to kill her and Pipa resulted in a side effect.

Nelson (Pedro Giestas) argues to Heitor (Adriano Toloza) that he loved Pipa and would be unable to harm him. Heitor tells Nelson that he only came there to warn him that he will get what he deserves for having manipulated and killed his own daughter.

Filó (Sofia Nicholson) is in absolute shock that Cacau is under suspicion of murder, with everyone agreeing that Cacau would not be capable of killing anyone. Filó asks Anita (Catarina Nifo) to call Quim (Paulo Calatré) from her phone because she is too nervous to do so.

Police officers talk about the data collected, ending up intrigued in agreeing that Cacau’s disappearance may be related to her being about to be named Justino’s (António Capelo) heir. Cláudia admits to Tiago and Júlia (Fernanda Serrano) that she does not see Cacau as a murderer. She is surprised that Tiago tells her that Heitor is in Portugal.

Filó is frustrated by Quim not answering the phone, not explaining to Anita what is happening so they cannot return to Brazil together or why she is angry with Tiradentes (Paulo Guidelly). Filó leaves Quim a voice message telling him that she can’t hide what’s happening with Cacau.

Marco (Diogo Amaral) and Justino talk about Vitória (Teresa Tavares) falling down the stairs, with both admitting that they don’t think Cacau would be capable of pushing her. Salomão reinforces that he thinks it was Sal (Carolina Amaral) who pushed Vitória and then blamed Cacau. Justino tells them that the police are working on the theory that the shot that killed Pipa was aimed at Cacau. Everyone looks at each other tensely.

Lola (Ana Bustorff) is worried when Tomané (Salvador Nery) tells her that Regina already knew they were watching her and made him follow another woman to outwit him. Tomané tells Soraia (Paula Neves) that whoever wants to harm Cacau lives in that house, showing her the computer burned by Sal. Soraia looks at him expectantly.

Salomão insists to Justino and Marco that it could have been Sal who shot Pipa to get rid of Cacau. Inspectors even tell Justino that they came there to interrogate Sal and Simone (Alexandra Lencastre). Lola is worried about seeing the police there.

Sal tells Simone that he thinks the men he hired managed to disappear with Cacau as agreed, having already destroyed the computer that could incriminate her. Simone tells her daughter it’s time now to kill Justino before he divorces her. Sal is worried after receiving a call from Justino to go home and talk to the police. Simone reassures her by saying that these are normal investigations for them to carry out, confirming this when Justino calls her shortly afterwards as they certainly also want to talk to her.

Tomané shows Soraia the video he recorded of Sal destroying the computer, saying that his plan involves getting closer to her to save Cacau and being generously rewarded in the end by Justino. Soraia says he can do it through sex, confiding that Rui (Nuno Pardal) is impotent.

Valdemar arrives from the street with a pregnancy test for Cacau to take. Regina and Valdemar talk about the possibility that the men who kidnapped Cacau wanted to take her to a human trafficking network, with Regina saying that it could only be Simone who is behind it. Guto and Pitty are equally shocked. Regina says spitefully that Valdemar has to find out where Simone is.

Soraia tells Tomané that she doesn’t want to hear about him getting involved with Sal because it’s all over between them, saying that it’s pragmatic that they want to team up to find out everything that Sal is hiding about Cacau’s disappearance and make a good profit from it. Tomané looks at her in astonishment.

Justino tells Lola that he is convinced that Regina will actually come to the house and talk to him, because if she really is Chiquinha as he thinks, she will try everything to find out where Cacau is, who is after all his daughter.

Cláudia arrives home thinking about Tiago’s words about there being someone else involved in Pipa’s death besides Cacau. Cláudia discovers the empty picture frame lying on the sofa, looking suspicious.

Simone, very well dressed, gets ready to leave to go to Justino’s house. She looks in amazement at Valdemar, who tells her seductively that he did everything to find her again. Valdemar tells Simone that he has never forgotten her, suggesting that she return to the hotel with him, saying that he has already paid off all her debts there. Simone is stunned.

Sal is interrogated by the inspectors, starting by stating beforehand that she thinks Cacau is a scammer and is not even Justino’s daughter. Salomão catches up with Sal telling the police that Sal is capable of anything to protect her interests. Sal pretends to be indignant because the inspectors ask her if the open war she has with Cacau would be a reason to do something to her.
