DAfter ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ came to an end due to accusations against the presenter and the production of promoting a toxic environment behind the scenes, Ellen DeGeneres confessed that she lived through a “difficult” period.
At a stand-up comedy show last week in Los Angeles, the presenter joked about being “kicked out of show business” for being “bad”.
When remembering the controversy, he recalled that he became “the most hated person in America”. “The hate lasted a long time and I tried to avoid watching the news”, he recalled.
Later on, and after giving space to those present to ask him questions, he ended up confessing that he “went through difficult times” and that he always had the support of his wife, Portia de Rossi.
