Ishwar Deen has been working on an unusual project for the last two months. He spent almost 2,800 euros transforming a used car into a helicopter, but in the final phase the vehicle was seized by the authorities.

A man from Uttar Pradesh, India, worked tirelessly to transform a used car into a helicopter, only to see his dream project fall apart when local police seized it for not having a road license.

“I was taking the car to be painted, but the police fined me and asked me to remove parts from the helicopter, claiming that this was not allowed,” said Ishwar Deen, a sculptor by profession, speaking to Reuters.

Deen spent around 250,000 rupees (almost 2,800 euros) on modifying the vehicle and worked day and night for the last two months on the project, hoping to use it at wedding parties as a decorative piece. The objective was to rent it as an adornment and did not intend to use it as a personal vehicle.

“This type of vehicle is in operation in several places like Bihar, Pratapgarh, etc, and no one is banning them, but here I have been stopped from using it,” Deen added.

Local police say that the vehicle was seized and banned from driving on the roads, as it did not have any circulation license assigned.
