UA 19-year-old young man stabbed his parents and a brother to death in Hohentengen, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, on Tuesday night, and also seriously injured his sister.
According to Corriere della Sera, the family is from Sardinia, Italy, but emigrated to Germany several years ago.
The suspect, who was detained at the scene without offering resistance, is called Guseppe Congiu and the victims are his father, Erminio Congiu, aged 61, his mother, Annalisa Prasciolu, aged 58, and his brother, whose name is not disclosed, 34 years old.
The sister who suffered serious injuries was transported to the hospital by helicopter. Although she still remains hospitalized, the Italian is now out of danger.
The case continues to be investigated. For now, the motivations for the crime are unknown. However, neighbors told German newspaper Südkurier that the young man had “drug” problems and was “noisy” and “violent.”
