ALithium-ion batteries may have their time counted in the automotive world. Replacing with sodium-ion batteries is seen as much more advantageous, from price to energy… and even sustainability.

The current model has disadvantages from all these perspectives and, as such, faces the risk of being gradually overtaken by another type of energy storage.
Just to give you an idea of the difference, cars powered by sodium-ion batteries could be around 30% cheaper, especially at a time when this elementary part of the vehicle is clearly one of the most valuable.
