Moments before the grand final of ‘A Máscara’, João Manzarra took to Instagram to talk about this edition of the SIC program, which he considers to have been a lot of fun.
The presenter started by playing with one of the published photographs, in which he appears to be hugged by the two finalist masks. “Is it true affection or are they one of those people who, when they see me on the street, don’t even talk to me or when I send them the nib, they never transfer a cent? I don’t know,” he wrote.
“I know that it was a great edition, that I had perhaps too much fun, that the researchers are wonderful, that sales of Miguel Vieira’s costumes have soared, that Luís’ texts are amazing and that the production team treats me like a sultan, once they even made me a cocktail with an expensive drink to drink during the break”, he noted later, in an amusing tone.
Finally, the communicator said: “I can only thank the little souls who gave full life to the masks and the spectators who followed the enormous mystery, talent and foolishness. Today is the end of ‘The Mask’ and the unrepeatable questions that will be missed like ‘who is Beaver?’ or ‘who hides behind the Broccoli?’. Long live SIC”.
It is worth remembering that the fourth season of the program ended with the victory of Castor, a mask in which presenter Fátima Lopes hid. In second place was Brócolo, which included former goalkeeper Ricardo Pereira.
