Actor Frankie Muniz revealed that he left the set of the series ‘Malcolm’, on two occasions, because of toxic people working on the production. Now 38 years old, the artist gave life to the young Malcolm, protagonist of the series, between 2000 and 2006.
Muniz recalled his experiences on the set of ‘Malcolm’ in his appearance on the Australian reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’.
“There are two episodes [de ‘Malcolm’] in which I do not appear. I left the set”, said Frankie Muniz on the reality show, reports the website Yahoo News.
He later said that “some people [da série]” created a toxic environment on set, causing tension and fear among the cast and crew.
“Everyone was so afraid when some people were controlling, hostile or disrespectful. As if I were walking on needles and pins. I was mortified to see people afraid to defend themselves, I was like, ‘say something’.”
Then, regarding his decision to leave the set on both occasions, he stated: “I didn’t care if they told me I would never come back, because it was worth it for me. It helped that the show revolved around me.”
Muniz is the father of little Mauz (3 years old), born from his marriage to Paige Price. The two exchanged rings in 2020. Recently the actor declared that he will not allow his son to work as an actor during his childhood.

Among his best-known films are productions such as ‘Wild Streets’ (2002), ‘The Greatest Liar’ (2002), ‘The Teen Agent’ (2003) and ‘Deu Zebra!’ (2005).
