Thirteen years later, she put an end to her career. But since she’s not stupid or anything, she saved all the money she earned and studied a lot about investments. With a diversified portfolio and saving what she could, she built her nest egg and, at 40, she guarantees: she built her retirement!

“I have a wonderful life and I am literally making money in my sleep. When I was on BBB 11, after analyzing my participation in the program, I saw that I had great potential to win the prize at the time (R$1.5 million). I have the privilege of being married to an amazing guy who allows me to invest and save all my money. I studied a lot, took risks and I feel fulfilled for achieving my own retirement”, she celebrates.

When she stopped being a fitness muse, she started to live a lighter life. She said goodbye to the strict diet and began to enjoy spending time with her family:

“It was a very tough diet and training routine. When we managed to go to a birthday, we took our lunch box and we could never eat what they ate. After 10 years of this life, I decided to take a sabbatical and live more freely, without commitment to social media, diet, training… I started dedicating myself more to my family and that feeds me. Today we all sit at the same table, we all eat the same food, dessert… This has brought me so much joy and pleasure.”

The couple met at a party, in Maresias, on the coast of São Paulo, in October 2011 and it was love at first sight on his part. Michelly and Carlos now own an advertising and marketing company. She takes care of the administrative side of the business. “He saw me and fell in love with me. If I weren’t known, would Carlos see me? A month later we moved in together”, she remembers.

After 13 years of relationship, the couple feels that now is the time to have a child. The ex-BBB has already regulated everything she needed in her body to generate the baby and Carlos did his part.

“Our mistake was not freezing eggs. In the last few years we were frantic, just working. But we are trying to get pregnant naturally. It hasn’t happened yet. This year we will carry out a more specific treatment. If the baby doesn’t arrive by next year, we will adopt a child.”

Today, the former fitness muse makes just one reservation: “You will take hydrolyzed whey protein (the hydrolyzed product contains low amounts of fats and carbohydrates and has a high concentration of hydrolyzed proteins, which help with faster absorption of nutrients, allowing the tissue muscle recovers faster)”.

According to Rossiclei Pinheiro, president of the Scientific Department of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics, breastfeeding goes far beyond nourishing. It is a bond between mother, child and family. The WHO (World Health Organization), the SBP (Brazilian Society of Pediatrics) and the Brazilian Ministry of Health advise that babies should be breastfed up to two years or more and exclusively up to six months. The introduction of other foods must be done in a natural, healthy and risk-free way, as the child’s brain is in full development and creating a food memory.

“The use of ultra-processed foods has been contraindicated throughout early childhood due to several risks already scientifically reported. Even in malnourished children, offering supplementation with excess proteins is risky due to liver and kidney immaturity. Furthermore, the relative effects of the different components of milk, milk protein and whey protein, even if hydrolyzed, are not clear and are ultra-processed foods. Every child must be evaluated by a pediatrician using growth and development charts and, if necessary. any supplementation, with guidance from a child nutritionist.”
