Princess Leonor receives the title of ‘Adopted Daughter’

At a time when he is approaching the end of his military training, which will take place in June, the princess Leonor received a important title.

The eldest daughter of Philip VI it’s from Letiziaheir to the throne, was elected ‘Adopted Daughter‘ from the city of Zaragoza. A title that the king also received, 38 years ago, when he received military training there.

According to the magazine Hola!the plenary of the City Council approved on Thursday, April 25th, the attribution of this honorific title, which will soon be announced by the Spanish Royal House.

According to the aforementioned publication, this title can be awarded to citizens who stand out “or have stood out in an extraordinary way due to their personal qualities or merits” or by “services provided” in honor of the city in question.

In her final stretch, Leonor is now preparing for her second semester exams, at the beginning of May. In June, she will appear again in an official uniform to celebrate Armed Forces Day.
