ES Government – Covid-19 testing post starts operating at Ifes in Cariacica

The Department of Health (Sesa) will offer Covid-19 testing on the campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Espírito Santo (Ifes) in Cariacica, which operates in the Itacibá neighborhood, starting this Thursday (21). Public service at the new location will be from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with 100 tests offered per day.

The testing station at the Laranjeiras Terminal, in the municipality of Serra, remains in operation offering Covid-19 testing, using the rapid test with results released in approximately 15 minutes. The activities of the testing station that operated at Vitória Airport were closed at the request of the site management.

Sesa highlights the State Government’s commitment to carrying out diagnosis for Covid-19 as a strategy to control the disease. In this way, it reinforces that users can go to the Basic Health Units (UBS) or other spaces in the municipalities to collect the material and send it to Lacen/ES.
