Israeli Defense Minister suffers car accident
Ben Gvir was slightly injured in the accident, which occurred on Friday night (26) in Tel Aviv. He was taken to a hospital but his condition is not serious, according to police.
The police also said they were still investigating the causes of the accident, but the Israeli press said, based on videos and reports, that the vehicle ran a red light.
The newspaper “Haaretz” also said that Ben Gvir orders his drivers to commit the infraction, with the argument of protecting himself from possible attacks while his vehicle is stopped.
According to the delegate responsible for the case, Kobi Shabtai, to the press, two other people were injured in the accident.
Ben Gvir was returning from an appointment in the city of Ramle, near Tel Aviv, where police said an alleged knife attack had occurred shortly before.
The Ministry of Security had not commented on the accident until the publication of this report.
