Arraial do Cabo trains 54 new technicians in Community Health Agents and Agents to Combat Endemic Diseases

Arraial do Cabo held the graduation ceremony for the first class of the technical course of the Mais Saúde com Agente Program last night (25) at the Manoel Camargo Cultural Center. In total, 54 new community health agents and agents to combat endemic diseases received certification.

“It is an immense satisfaction to deliver these 54 certificates to this group! It was a year of exchanges and learning and our municipality is the main beneficiary. This year, we reaped the fruits of a lot of work and we see Arraial do Cabo in the media being a reference in actions of prevention against dengue and arboviruses. This is only possible through the commitment of our agents. We wish these new professionals an excellent trajectory”, adds Jorge Diniz, Secretary of Health.

The course promotes professional qualification for a greater and stronger bond with the population, in addition to the integration between Primary Care and Health Surveillance in the SUS. The classes were taught throughout 2023 and concluded now in 2024. This is an action of the Ministry of Health, carried out through the Secretariat of Work Management and Health Education, in partnership with the Secretariat of Health of Arraial do Cable.
