Propose, in collaboration with the Municipal Department of Works and Urban Planning, general guidelines regarding the road structure; XXIII. Plan, design, regulate and operate vehicle, pedestrian and animal traffic, and promote the development of cyclist circulation and safety; XXIV. Plan and implement measures to reduce vehicle circulation and redirect traffic, with the aim of reducing global pollutant emissions; XXV. Coordinate, programs and execute public transport policy in the Municipality; XXVII. Operationally detail, through Ordinance, the regular public passenger transport system in the Municipality, establishing itineraries, frequency, times, locations and stopping times and criteria for special services; XXIX. Establish operational schemes for taxi, motorcycle taxi and motorcycle delivery services, defining costs, equipment and parking point locations; XXX. Enter into agreements with State and Federal bodies, for effective integration of the Municipality into the National Transit System; XXXI. Promote the integration of the Superintendence with other bodies and entities of the National Traffic System for the purposes of collecting and compensating fines imposed in the area of ​​its competence, with a view to standardizing licensing, simplifying and speeding up transfers of vehicles and vehicle records drivers from one Federation Unit to another; XXXIX. Promote good relationships with the Military Police authorities and other bodies of the National Traffic System.
