Ensure compliance with these Regulations and give instructions for the execution of services; XIII. Forward to the Administrative Infraction Appeals Board (JARI), within the legal deadline, for judgment, all appeal processes filed by offenders; XIV. Provide technical, administrative and financial support for JARI, as determined by legislation (CONTRAN resolution no. 233); XV. Advise the Mayor in the formulation of policies to be adopted by the Municipality in the area of ​​Transit and Public Transport of Passengers and Cargo; XVIII. Comply with and enforce traffic legislation and regulations, within the scope of their duties; XIX. Promote the organization of the traffic and urban traffic system, in line with the competent bodies of the State and the Union; XX. Promote and supervise the carrying out of studies and research on passenger transport by bus, taxi and motorcycle taxi, aiming to achieve the ideal dimension of the system; XXI. Promote and supervise the carrying out of studies and research aimed at developing projects and traffic and field engineering, identifying possible sources of financing for their implementation; XXII. Propose, in collaboration with the Municipal Department of Works and Urban Planning, general guidelines regarding the road structure; XXIII. Plan, design, regulate and operate vehicle, pedestrian and animal traffic, and promote the development of cyclist circulation and safety; XXIV. Plan and implement measures to reduce vehicle circulation and redirect traffic, with the aim of reducing global pollutant emissions; XXV. Propose, after analyzing the cost spreadsheet, the value of the fare for public passenger transport, taxi, Mototaxi and paid transport of motorcycle delivery goods; XXVII. Coordinate, programs and execute public transport policy in the Municipality; XXVII. Complement, through Ordinance, the regulatory standards for permitting public transport services for passengers and cargo, within the scope of the municipality; XXVIII. Operationally detail, through Ordinance, the regular public passenger transport system in the Municipality, establishing itineraries, frequency, times, locations and stopping times and criteria for special services; XXIX. Establish operational schemes for taxi, motorcycle taxi and motorcycle delivery services, defining costs, equipment and parking point locations; XXX. Enter into agreements with State and Federal bodies, for effective integration of the Municipality into the National Transit System; XXXI. Analyze and decide on the implementation of plans and projects relating to subdivisions, housing complexes, any type of urban equipment, construction or events, which may influence the flow of traffic and the urban transport system; XXXII. Coordinate with other bodies of the National Traffic System in the State, under the coordination of the State Traffic Council in the State, under the coordination of the State Traffic Council – CETRAN; XXXIII. Authorize the provision of technical training, advisory and monitoring services for activities related to traffic and transport, to other bodies or municipalities, during the period to be established between the parties, with reimbursement of appropriate costs; XXXIV. Grant authorization to drive human-powered and animal-powered vehicles; XXXV. Ensure that people with disabilities have safety and comfort when traveling; XXXVI. Sign all official documents from the Municipal Traffic Superintendence; XXXVII. Perform administrative acts in general and represent the Municipal Traffic Superintendence, actively or passively, in court or out of court; XXXVIII. Promote the integration of the Superintendence with other bodies and entities of the National Traffic System for the purposes of collecting and compensating fines imposed in the area of ​​its competence, with a view to standardizing licensing, simplifying and speeding up transfers of vehicles and vehicle records drivers from one Federation Unit to another; XXXIX. Promote good relationships with the Military Police authorities and other bodies of the National Traffic System.
